EUROPEAN BOXING GOLD TOURNAMENT

Dear Boxing Friends,

We would like to extend our warmest greetings and are delighted to invite you to the 9th edition of the Eindhoven Box Cup, a European Boxing GOLD boxing event that will be held in the vibrant city of Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
This year, the competition is scheduled to take place from Thursday 21 May to Tuesday 26 May 2026.
The Eindhoven Box Cup has already earned its reputation as The Netherlands’ largest Olympic-style international Boxing event.
Organized under the auspices of the Dutch Boxing Federation in cooperation with European Boxing and World Boxing, the tournament will be an official European Boxing Gold Tournament contested under World Boxing competition rules.

This edition in Eindhoven will feature the ten Elite men’s and ten Elite women’s World Boxing weight classes.
Here you’ll find all necessary information, which you need in relation to the Eindhoven Box Cup 2026, including entry process, boxing entries check requirements and hotel information.

Just as in previous years, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) will ensure that all organizational standards are met and it is my sincere hope that this competition will motivate boxers, coaches and competitions officials to strive for excellence in their performance, sportsmanship, and integrity.

The Eindhoven Box Cup is The Netherlands’ largest Olympic Boxing event that will take place at the renowned Hotel Eindhoven, located strategically only 10 minutes from the Eindhoven International Airport and 10 minutes from the Eindhoven city center.

COMPETITION RULES & FORMAT

Age category	Elite, born from 1 January 1985 to 31 December 2006
Entry Requirement	Entries will only be accepted for athletes who are submitted and registered by their respective National Federation
Men’s weight categories	50kg, 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg, 90+kg
Women’s weight categories	48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 80+kg
Draw sizes and composition	Max 16 boxers per weight category, as limited by the number of competition days.
Number of rings	One ring or two rings in preliminaries
Scoring and timing	Swiss Timing
Boxing equipment	Green Hill gloves will be provided by the LOC, women boxers should bring their own competition headguards, which are compliant with World Boxing Competition Rules
Hand wrapping	Velcro bandages must be used by all participating boxers. Bandages will NOT be provided by the LOC, but must comply with World Boxing Competition Rules

All times and dates are subject to change according to specific needs and/or force majeure.

ENTRY PROCESS

It is required that respective participating National Federations confirm the technical and medical standard of
the boxers and other Team Members. Participating National Federations are also responsible for submitting
the personal data on behalf of each member of their Team, and for ensuring that the personal information
provided during the entry process is accurate.
The entry process for Teams is completed online, as specified in the table below. Entry registration fee per
person registered for the tournament is €40,-, except for referee & judges.

TEAM DELEGATION COMPOSITIONS

1-2 boxers + 3 technical staff
3-6 boxers + 4 technical staff + minimum 1 R/J*
7+ boxers + 5 technical staff + minimum 1 R/J*

*It is mandatory for all participating National Federations with three or more participating boxers to delegate
and bear costs for a World Boxing certified Referee and Judge as a part of their Teams. Referee and Judges
are subject to confirmation by World Boxing. World Boxing may request that another R&J is delegated
for this event by the participating National Federation.
Participating National Federations that fail to delegate an appropriately certified R&J for a Team with three
or more boxers will be subject to a EUR 500 penalty. This penalty must be paid prior to the Boxing Entries
Check.
Withdrawals after the final entry deadline will not be refunded.

BOXING ENTRIES CHECK

Boxing Entries Check

The Boxing Entries check is the final part of the event entry process.

The Boxing Entries Check is mandatory for all Teams, and teams should make all necessary arrangements to arrive timely 21 May 2026 15:00 – 19:00.

Each Team may appoint a maximum of two people to attend its Boxing Entries Check (e.g. Team Leader and the Team Doctor).

In order to be cleared for the competition, Teams must provide the following documents for each boxer, signed and completed as required:

Copy of passport
Record Book (with annual medical examination completed within the previous 12 months, national record books accepted)
Declaration of Non-Pregnancy Form (women boxers only), signed by the boxer/legal guardian
Uniforms (red and blue) per World Boxing Competition Rules
Certificate of Gender Test (Men and Women boxers) Boxers over 18 years of age

To complete the Boxing Entries process and receive accreditations, Teams must have fully settled their accommodation costs with the LOC.

Important: Failure to attend the Boxing Entries Check per scheduled appointment by any Team will lead to the exclusion of the entire Team from taking part in the event.

ACCOMMODATION

Participating Teams can book their accommodation the Event Hotels via the LOC Hotel Booking Form.
All Teams must submit their accommodation request and rooming list to the LOC using the Hotel Booking Form via reservations@eindhoven.valk.com a.s.a.p. but latest by 1 May 2026 (23:59 CET).

For additional information or in case of any issue, please email reservations@eindhoven.valk.com.
Any damage to Event Hotel property resulting from the stay of a Team will be charged to the respective National Federation and must be paid in full. Delegations are kindly requested not to dry clothing or have training sessions in the corridors of the Event Hotels.
Only accredited Event participants will be allowed to stay in the Event Hotel.

Payment terms:
All Teams must cover costs of their accommodation for the entire Event Period. Accreditations will not be issued until accommodation has been paid in full to the LOC.
Additionally, entry fee of EUR35 per person is applicable to all accredited participants team members to be completed in the online registration system. Referees and Judges are exempt from entry fee.
Two (2) weeks prior to the event we will send you a payment link for the full prepayment of the accommodation costs which must be completed by 1 May 2026

INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION

The designated port for arrival and departure of Teams is Eindhoven International Airport (EIN) or
Eindhoven Central Railway Station.
All Teams must submit their arrival and departure details by transport request document to the LOC via
transport.eindhovenboxcup@gmail.com by 1 May 2026 (23:59 CET).

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

The LOC will provide airport transfers and ground transportation for Teams during the event period between
the training and competition venues and the delegation hotels. This service is only offered on the days when
the delegations are booked in an official hotel through the LOC. If delegations are using an unofficial hotel or
an official hotel, not reserved through the LOC, they are not allowed to use the official event transportation.
Additional transportation costs will apply when airport transfers or any other transportation is required outside
of event days and costings will be sought on request.

VISA & ENTRY TO THE HOST COUNTRY

LOC will provide assistance to participating National Federations requiring Visas but cannot guarantee their acquisition.
For information and visa support letters, please complete visa information form and email via info@eindhovenboxcup.com. The deadline to submit requests for visa support letters is 18 April 2026 (23:59
CET).
Passports of all Championships participants must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival and must contain blank page(s) for visa(s) and stamps.
It is the responsibility of participating National Federations to ensure that their Teams respect the conditions of stay defined by the Government of the country hosting the event. If any participant does not respect these conditions, any costs arising will be borne by the respective National Federation.
